CHOKE SAFETY CERTIFICATION
We offer Choke Safety Certification meeting the 105 CMR 605.000 mandated regulation for Massachusetts.
105 CMR 590.009: Special Requirements, Anti Choking Procedures for Food Service Establishments” Pursuant to M. G. L. c. 94, § 305D, each food service establishment having a seating capacity of 25 persons or more shall: Have on its premises, while food is being served, an employee trained in, manual procedure approved by the Department to remove food lodged in a persons throat;
This course intended to teach a person how to recognize a choking victim; and to respond using Abdominal Thrusts.
Practical training with manikins, video and class discussion included with the course.
Recommended for restaurant employees, food service personnel, those working with high risk individuals, and anyone wanting to learn Choke Safety.
Upon completion each student will receive a certificate valid for 2 years.
*Our classes are taught by American Heart Association® and National Safety Council® certified instructors.
